What is your favorite place in Canada?
My favourite place is Vancouver Island. I love how the wild Canadian wilderness meets the Pacific coast. No palm trees needed here on these beaches! This place always reminds me how magical nature is. In addition, there are so many activities that can be done here: great hiking, surfing and kayaking!
Tell us about a special discovery that you’ve made in Canada.
When my friend came to visit from Switzerland, we did a very spontaneous trip to Whistler. Even though everyone said that the trails were too icy, we hiked up to Joffrey Lake. It was the best Winter hike I've ever experienced, and the views of the 3 frozen lakes and the glacier were absolutely breathtaking.
What is your best travel memory in Canada?
There are so many memories, but I would say Wells Gray National Park, with more than 39 waterfalls, it was definitely one of my favorite travel memories. Hiking and discovering impressive waterfalls like Helmcken Falls, made me feel like a true nature explorer.
