Departure date

The below itinerary is only a suggestion, we offer tailor-made personal service and solutions to help you plan your perfect vacation.

Day 1 Vancouver Arrival Arrival at Vancouver International Airport and meet your driver for private transfer to your downtown hotel. Experience five-star luxury accommodation at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. Sophisticated and cosmopolitan but casual and contemporary, the hotel combines the best of Asia and the west coast in its plan, decor, and culinary offerings.

The rest of the day is free to explore Vancouver on your own. Majestic mountains, sparkling ocean, rainforests and beautiful foliage all four seasons make Vancouver one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Day 2 Vancouver Today, enjoy a private tour of Vancouver. This tour is the perfect combination for those who want to explore both the bustling city and its natural beauty, with plenty of opportunities for spectacular photo shots. First, explore the metropolis of Vancouver from the Business district to trendy Yaletown. Then you’ll glimpse into the city’s mixed native, European and Asian cultures in the T&T Asian Market, legendary Chinatown and historic Gastown. Discover the thriving residential known as the West End as you head into the Stanley Park to see the famous West Coast Totem Poles. Travel over the Lions Gate Bridge, to the North Shore for a visit to the tranquil setting of the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge. Then you’ll continue to the Capilano Salmon Hatchery, where you will learn and see the life cycle of the Pacific Salmon. The grand finale will be a walk through the Coastal Rainforest of the Capilano Canyon where you will indulge your desire for knowledge, and discover lichen, moss, ferns, and flowering plants, which grow under the mantle of Douglas fir, cedar and hemlock trees. Picnic lunch is included.

Day 3 Whistler This morning you will be picked up by your driver for a private transfer to Whistler. Located in the spectacular Coast Mountains of British Columbia just two hours north of Vancouver, Whistler is Canada’s favourite year-round destination. There's two majestic mountains with a vibrant base Village, epic skiing and snowboarding, four championship golf courses, unbeatable shopping, restaurants and bars, accommodation to suit every budget, hiking trails, spas and arguably the best mountain bike park in the world. Arrive in Whistler and take off for an experience of a life time. You will be transported to private back country hot-springs, only accessible via helicopter. This is Whistler’s most exciting Wilderness Wellness Experience. Exclusive, natural, private and serene are words that simply don’t do this experience justice. After a day of adventure, come to a full stop in the Four Seasons’ freeform outdoor swimming pool. Fully heated all year long, it’s a steamy oasis offering panoramic vistas of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.

Day 4 Clayoquot Wilderness Resort The morning is free to explore Whistler on your own before departing by private seaplane to Clayoquot Wilderness Resort. From the moment you step off the floatplane, to that first glass of sparkling wine, to that hike through old growth forest, the resort staff is there to offer a guest experience that is restoring the soul and this beautiful land.

Day 5-7 Clayoquot Wilderness Resort Daily wilderness activities are highly personalized and customized based on each guest’s experience level, willingness and desires. This means no “signing up” for particular activities in advance and the ability to choose what you want to do each day. Every evening your Activities Directors will sit with you personally and design your adventures for the next day depending on weather, tidal charts, animal sightings and your willingness to go wild!

As Clayoquot specializes in remote experiences, guests may choose to be taken to a pristine and secluded beach to learn how to surf, have a First Nations guide escort them on a day long hike to the “Wild Side” interpretive trail and Flores Island, take on a mountain fed rushing river in a kayak, or experience a gentler ocean kayak cruise to private inlets and hidden coves. Horsemanship and riding are signatures of the resort, with a range of talented horses for the beginner to the expert rider.

Wildlife viewing is also part of daily life, whether guests go in search of black bears and whales or see the wildlife on the outskirts of camp, kept there by a team of well trained and well-loved dogs. The Outpost is located in one of the most densely wildlife-populated natural environments in the world, where species of plants and animals unique to the Clayoquot Sound Biosphere, present Outpost guests and visiting researchers an opportunity to observe the web of life – in balance. Bear Watching, Whale watching, Wildlife Viewing are just some of the endless possibilities at Clayoquot.

The Resort also houses the Healing Grounds Spa - an eco-safari style massage and therapeutic treatment centre with the soul of an outpost spa and a personality all its own.

During your entire stay enjoy the mouth-watering Coastal Cascadian Cuisine from Chef Ryan Orr.

Day 8 Clayoquot to Vancouver Return to Vancouver and stay one more night at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. Use the afternoon to shop, relax or dine in one of the most exclusive restaurants on the West Coast.
