What is your favourite place in Canada?
Downtown Montreal is a beautiful and wonderfully walk-able city. The city pulsates with a vibrant energy and there are so many restaurants and boutique shops to discover. You can even enjoy a hike up to Mount Royal Park. That lookout is beautiful with the stone balustrade encompassment overlooking the city, water and sky.
What is your best travel memory in Canada?
Exploring Osoyoos and various wineries through the Okanagan Valley of BC is one of my favorite memories. I learned so much about wine and about my own palate as well. And it’s true what they say about Osoyoos being Canada’s desert - it was nice and warm even in early April!
Tell us about a special discovery that you’ve made in Canada?
Phantom Lake brings new meaning to the term ‘hidden gem’ – being only accessible via seaplane (near Squamish, BC) and boasting water as emerald green as you can imagine. You can still see snow on the mountains even in the middle of August and the water is just as cool, fresh and clear.
