Kelsey Broddy

Travel Designer

Kelsey grew up in British Columbia and grew an everlasting love for the outdoors, especially being on the water and spending many winter days on the ski slopes with her family. Her fascination with BC and Canada’s natural wonders lead her to a degree in Geography at UBC in the Okanagan Valley. She spent her summers working for one of Vancouver’s top attractions, and found herself excited by the industry of travel. After graduation and world travels she decided that pursuing a career in the travel industry was a perfect fit where she could share her love of the wonders of Canada.

What is your favorite place in Canada?

As a Canadian that grew up on ski hills, I have found that you can’t beat Whistler Blackcomb. This resort town is known for its seasonal outdoor activities and a laid-back walkable village. I feel lucky to have this world-renowned ski resort in my back yard and I try to go as much as possible.

What is your best travel memory in Canada?

Visiting Tofino last winter with my friends has to be my best travel memory. In the winter season, Tofino has a unique feel as its storms lead to big waves and surf. This unique view of Canadian winters makes you want to revel in the rain and go hiking in the mud and surfing in the waves, then end your day warm in front of a fire inside, exhausted from all the fun you had. A true Canadian experience.
