What is your favorite place in Canada?
One of my favourite places in Canada is Joffre Lakes. Regardless the season, it is a gorgeous hike that leads to the most stunning view of lakes and mountains; the hike is always worth the view! Since it’s not too far of a drive from Vancouver it makes the perfect day adventure and provides a short escape from the city life into the quiet serenity of nature.
What one thing in Canada should you experience at least once in your life?
Skiing in Whistler and on the local Vancouver mountains! The powder is great and the mountains offer a variety of runs for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Up at the peak, you’ll be able to look down on the city of Vancouver and of the Pacific Ocean. I highly recommend watching the sunset from the mountain peak. It’s absolutely gorgeous and a memory for a lifetime!

Granville Island! It’s a vibrant marketplace that is always changing. I love to explore the local food and craft stands within the main market square and wander along the boardwalk. You can watch the boats go by while enjoying some delicious gelato. If you’ve got some time to relax, there’s an amazing hammock store, which is the perfect place to “hang” out.
