Denali, set in the interior of Alaska is six million acres of wild land, bisected by one ribbon of road. Entry to the Denali National Park is only possible by joining a guided park tour during May-September.
The topography and terrain is relatively low-elevation taiga forest, which then gives way to high alpine tundra and snowy mountains. Here you’ll also find North America's tallest peak, 20,320' Mount McKinley. Wild animals large and small roam unfenced lands, living as they have for ages in solitude and tranquility of this immense wilderness of the last frontier.
