Gros Morne National Park
Gros Morne National Park is a World Heritage Site located on the west coast of Newfoundland. At 1,805 km2 (697 sq mi), it is the second largest national park in Atlantic Canada.
Journey to the park is an adventure in itself – daily flights reach Deer Lake Airport which is 35KM drive to the park with its main service from the province’s capital St. Johns. Seafarers can take a 6 hour ferry service departing from North Sydney, Nova Scotia to port at Port aux Basque. Once off the ferry in Newfoundland Gros Morne National Park is 340km north of the Port aux Basque ferry terminal.
