Kingston

Kingston just north of Toronto along the shores of Lake Ontario is the oldest city in Ontario. As the gateway to the world-famous Thousand Islands, we are touched by the currents of Lake Ontario, the St. Lawrence River and the Cataraqui River.
Summer draws out all the water adventure seekers to the region for sailing, boat cruises and kayakers just to name a few.
The city houses some of the finest 19th century buildings in Canada along cobblestone streets reminisces of old world England. The Kingston Public Market has been the economic and social heart of Kingston since the 1800s. Today it is still a must-see stop for locals and visitors alike complete with fresh produce, handmade goods and even cooking demonstrations.
