Yukon Northern Lights (3 Days)
Travel with ease and convenience on this two-night trip to the Yukon. With flights included out of Vancouver you'll arrive to Whitehorse for an information meeting, registration for tours and the fitting of winter clothing. Shop and dine the first day away, then settle into a cozy cabin with hot drinks and delicious snacks as you await the Aurora's famous dance.
During daylight hours try snowmobiling or ice fishing and snowshoeing. Soak up the incredible winter landscape of the Yukon and learn a new series of winter skills. Each day ends with watching the Northern Lights from your heated cabin, where you can chat with other travelers and share stories around the fire.

Day 1 Vancouver to Whitehorse & Evening Aurora Viewing Depart Vancouver Airport for Whitehorse. Upon arrival transfer (included) from the airport to your hotel in downtown Whitehorse. The hotel is located within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants, banks and stores. After your arrival, there is time for an information meeting, the registration for optional tours, the fitting of winter clothing, for shopping and dinner on your own. This evening depart for your first Aurora viewing. A cozy, heated cabin or wall tent with hot drinks and snacks makes your Aurora viewing even more enjoyable. Return to hotel around 2.30am.
Day 2 Morning Sightseeing Tour & Evening Aurora Viewing Sleep in this morning. At 10.00am your city tour starts. The tour includes Main Street, the Train Depot of the White Pass and the Yukon Route, the Log Skyscraper, the Log Church, the Sternwheeler SS Klondike, the fish ladder, Schwatka Lake and some residential areas. This afternoon is free to relax before departing at 10.00pm for more Aurora viewing. Again, hot drinks and snacks are provided in a warm-up cabin. You can sit around a roaring fire and share stories with fellow travellers. Return to hotel around 2.30am.
Day 3 Whitehorse to Vancouver Transfer (included) to Whitehorse airport for your return flight to Vancouver, upon arrival at Vancouver Airport your package ends.
Optional Tours for Free Day
Half Day Snowmobile Driving (9.10am or 12.10pm)
We drive you to the site and introduce you to the safety of driving a snow machine. After instructions and a trial run with your instructor you’ll be driving your own machine over prepared trails through the incredible winter landscape of the Yukon. Includes transfers, instruction, the use of a snow machine (2 person / sled), Snacks and hot drinks. Total duration: 4 hours (min 2 person)
Ice Fishing & Show Shoeing Tour (12.10pm)
After a short drive to a frozen lake we'll show you how to walk on snowshoes. With our fishing equipment we'll walk onto the ice of the lake where we'll fish through a hole in the ice. With some luck we catch a Lake Trout or Grayling and pull it up from the hole. Includes transfers, snow shoes, angling equipment, instruction on how to use snowshoes and how to fish, blankets, snack and hot drinks. Total duration: 4 hours
